Creating Captivating Visual Content for Plymouth Marine Centre’s Nimbus T8 Leisure Boat

In response to an engagement from Plymouth Marine Centre, our creative team embarked on a project to produce compelling visual content for their latest offering, the Nimbus T8 leisure boat. This case study delves into our strategic approach, the execution of the project, and the positive outcomes achieved for both the client and the boat’s marketing endeavours. 

Client Consultation and Project Scope: 

Upon initial consultation with Plymouth Marine Centre, it was evident that showcasing the Nimbus T8 leisure boat required a multi-faceted visual approach. We collaboratively defined the project scope, agreeing to create a dynamic reel, an immersive walkthrough video, and a comprehensive set of high-quality photographs to effectively capture the essence of the boat’s design, features, and the lifestyle it promised to deliver.

  1. Location and Setup: We established our production base at Plymouth Yacht Haven, where the Nimbus T8 leisure boat was conveniently stored. This choice of location provided a seamless transition from planning to execution.
  2. Walkthroughs and Technical Setup: Our team commenced the project by capturing detailed walkthroughs of the boat’s interior and exterior features. As part of our comprehensive approach, we strategically positioned a 360-degree camera and multiple GoPros to capture dynamic angles and water-skiing
  3. Aerial Footage with Mavic 3: Leveraging the capabilities of the Mavic 3 drone, we captured captivating aerial shots from various angles, effectively showcasing the boat’s performance on the water. The drone’s flexibility allowed us to highlight the boat’s design and prowess from a unique perspective.
  4. Lifestyle Shots at River Yealm: To convey the lifestyle that the Nimbus T8 leisure boat could provide, we ventured to the picturesque River Yealm. Against this stunning backdrop, we filmed lifestyle shots that featured individuals engaging in leisure activities, capturing the essence of the boat’s social and recreational offerings.
