This Monday, we were asked to provide aerialfilming for BBC Breakfast for the start of the Commonwealth Games relay.
Arriving at the Eden Project at 4:30am, we took our brief and prepared our Inspire 2 drone for a very busy morning.
We linked up with the satellite truck via HDMI cord to the I2 controller and was in constant communication with the director via a head set.
We started off conducting relatively simple manoeuvres for the headlines and the first few live hits. Our most complicated shot involved following the presenter and an athlete down the zip-line. Here is one of the reports that was live, which includes the zip-line.
